Plagiarism is a serious crime when submitting an assignment to a university. It is unfair for a student to include works of other people in his papers without providing due credit to the respective authors. Plus, they might use the same software as well, and if you get caught it could land you in trouble. You can fail, or be suspended or expelled in serious cases. Why risk a minor assignment for your career? It's easier to just refine your writing skills because believe us; you're going to need them far outside the university world. Note, bargain not; give credit where it is due. If you need to use somebody's job, either takes permission or simply quotes them and cites them.
Avoid Being The Last Minute Timer:
Many students plan to start writing their assignments until the last minute. Readers know why students are given several weeks and even months to complete an assignment. Working on the same paper in days or even hours is catastrophic and these students score low marks, just to reach the deadline. Last-minute timers have little time to carefully read instructions, read extensively from the available sources, and have little time to correct errors in their assignments before sending them to lecturers. If the directions given are not explicit, then it is wise to obtain clarification from the lecturer.
Writing Irrelevant Content:
Another error often committed by most students is the inclusion of irrelevant information. You tend to lose more points for not focusing on what is being requested than making mistakes in writing. Depending on your content, your professors may consider writing a shorter paper below the specified word limit, instead of peppering it with useless stuff just to increase the word count. Often stop using clichés or simple hooks. It's too simple and demonstrates a lack of originality in your assignment. Your teachers spend a great deal of time creating task sets and you need to appreciate the sentiment. They won't care if you don't answer the particular question or do something irrelevant; it diverts attention from the overall work and wastes your time too.
